— Psalm 119:9
In today’s fast-paced world, the youth face unprecedented challenges. The rapid advancement of science, technology, and social changes bring new opportunities but also raise difficult questions. The pressures of modern life—along with temptations, distractions, and the quest for identity—can often leave young people uncertain of their path.
At DWRC, we believe that it is more important than ever for youth to be mentored, guided, and grounded in the Word of God. Our Youth Retreat is designed to give young people a chance to step back, reflect, and engage with their faith in a meaningful way.
Navigating the journey of life is often unpredictable, and at times, the storms of life may feel overwhelming. It is in these moments that we need spiritual guidance, a listening ear, and a safe place to seek healing and understanding. Our Counselling Ministry aims to provide just that—a sanctuary where individuals and families can find peace, strength, and hope through the support of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the sacraments of the Church.
Through activities, discussions, and spiritual guidance, we aim to provide the youth with the tools to face the challenges of the modern world while staying firmly rooted in Christ’s teachings. As they journey through this retreat, we hope they will be empowered to become the salt and light of the Gospel, sharing their faith and leading others to Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
In Psalm 119:9, the Psalmist offers a powerful reminder that purity comes through guarding our hearts and lives in accordance with God’s Word. In today’s world, this is especially important for youth as they navigate the complexities of their faith and the challenges of modern life. Our Youth Retreat aims to:
The Youth Retreat will provide an engaging and spiritually enriching experience for all participants. Here’s what to expect:

This retreat is more than just a getaway—it’s an opportunity for youth to
We believe that the youth are the future of the Church and the world. By attending the Youth Retreat, participants will be empowered to live out their faith with courage and conviction. As they leave the retreat, we pray they will be ready to step into the world as salt and light—shining Christ’s love and truth wherever they go.
May they become leaders who inspire others to follow Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
